Casa Pilar is located in a small, gated community called SeaGlass Cove on Duck Key (near the city of Marathon, FL).

Casa Pilar is approximately a 1-hour drive north from the Key West Airport and approximately 2-2.5 hours heading south from Miami International Airport (depending on traffic).

Our guests often rent a car at their desired airport and drive to Casa Pilar- although there are great transportation services that can get you here if you prefer.

Yes. Casa Pilar is a true beachfront home with private beach access to a white sand shoreline. Guests can walk directly from the home to the sand.

There are steps to the water if you would like to snorkel, paddleboard.

The house sleeps 12. We maintain a firm occupancy limit to preserve the comfort and integrity of the home and community.

Yes. Casa Pilar shares access to a beautifully maintained community pool within the private complex. The pool is reserved for homeowners and their guests.

Yes. Families are welcome, and the spacious three-level layout works beautifully for multi-generational stays. We have a “kids” room with a full bed and trundle on the 3rd floor. However, as a beachfront property with stairs, balconies, and access to water children should be supervised at all times.

We have a high chair and portable crib available on site. If you need to rent additional children’s items during your stay, contact the Star Properties concierge team to inquire before your arrival.

Yes! In addition to our on-site pool and pickleball court, there are many local attractions within a short drive. We are right next to a fun family inflatable activity park and there are several snorkeling, kayaking and boat tours that leave from the nearby marina.

That depends… if you mostly plan to relax and stay close you can get to and from close restaurants using ride shares.

But if you want to really explore the area we would suggest renting a car. Casa Pilar is very quiet- which is often what draws our guests here- but it is not immediately adjacent to the commercial center.

We designed Casa Pilar with our guests in mind, but also to be a home away from home for our family. This means we included everything we care about. A quality speaker, the good pillows, a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, interesting art…

This means it’s not just a rental property- it feels like home.

Yes. Casa Pilar requires a 7 night stay.

There is a driveway parking space that accommodates 2 vehicles.

Casa Pilar is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted inside the home or on balconies.
