His affection for the ocean, love of a good time, and spirit for adventure has always inspired our family.
Pilar was the name of his beloved boat, where he spent countless days fishing and writing in the warm waters between Key West and Cuba, and was a nickname for his second wife. You’ll find nods to Hemingway, and plenty of historic island charm, incorporated throughout our interior design.
At Casa Pilar, we invite you to slow down, soak up the sun, and live as Hemingway might have – with good company, salty air, and stories waiting to be written.
